R&A CPAS PLLC in Tucson, AZ, seeks a Senior – Client Accounting Services to lead engagements, supervise staff, and build strong client relationships. You will ensure timely, accurate financial reporting, manage engagement workflows, and contribute to practice development.

The role requires GAAP knowledge, proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel, and ability to travel up to 50% to client sites. Experience in public accounting and coaching junior staff are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• Three years of experience in client advisory services in a medium-to-large public accounting firm or equivalent.
• QuickBooks Online Pro Advisor Certification preferred or obtained within the first six months.

Responsibilities

• Compiles, processes, and maintains AP, AR, and payroll records for multiple clients.
• Prepares fully documented trial balances and manages payroll taxes and sales/use tax.
• Analyzes income statements, explains variances, and capitalizes improvements or expenses repairs.
• Recommends and implements software/process improvements for clients and firm.
• Mentors associates, provides ongoing feedback, and supports engagement workflow.
