Job summary

Sorren, a top 50 national advisory firm, seeks an experienced accounting professional in California. The role focuses on managing reconciliations, adjusting entries, and receivables across multiple entities, with oversight of annual tax prep processes and financial reporting.

You will mentor staff, review engagements, and build strong client relationships. The candidate should have 5–10 years of general accounting experience, a CPA or eligibility, and a solid GAAP background.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with accounting software and related tools.
• Strong leadership and communication skills for mentoring teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and review complex accounting functions for multiple entities.
• Oversee annual accounting procedures for tax prep and reports.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial compilations per client needs.
• Identify misstatements and risks; provide advisory services to clients.
• Meet annual billable hours targets and contribute to firm productivity.
