Sorren is seeking an experienced accounting professional in the United States to join our firm as a senior accountant. You will manage and review complex accounting functions across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery, while supporting tax preparation and financial reporting needs.

You will mentor junior staff, identify risks, and provide advisory services to clients, leveraging GAAP expertise and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in general accounting.
• CPA license or eligible preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting frameworks.
• Experience with accounting software and related tools; leadership and client-relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and review complex accounting functions across multiple entities.
• Oversee annual accounting procedures for tax preparation and filings.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, or annual financial compilations.
• Identify misstatements, risks, and inconsistencies in reports.
• Provide advisory and financial consulting services to clients.
• Prepare engagement budgets and monitor resource use.
• Foster client relationships and manage expectations.
