Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in engineering with focus on environmental.
• Solid knowledge of Clean Air Act laws and permitting regulations.
• Minimum five years of experience with air dispersion modeling analyses.
• Proficiency in AERMOD, AERSCREEN, AERMET, and AERSURFACE.
• Experience drafting and reviewing air permits.
• Strong writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform, review, and evaluate air dispersion modeling analyses using tools such as AERSCREEN, AERMOD.
• Perform modeling applicability determinations according to guidance.
• Identify meteorological data and representative parameters for sources.
• Establish background concentrations and nearby source considerations.
• Evaluate NO to NO2 conversion and pollutant formation per guidelines.
• Draft Clean Air permits (minor source, Title V, PSD, major nonattainment).
• Review permits for conformity with regulations and policy.
• Draft and review control technology determinations (BACT/LAER).
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams; prepare technical documents and reports.
