Textron Systems in Hunt Valley, MD is seeking a Senior Systems & Network Administrator to support classified information systems, develop, implement, and maintain secure, cost‑effective environments, and partner with Cybersecurity teams to meet RMF/STIG requirements.

The role requires Windows and Linux expertise, 3+ years of network/system administration, DoD clearance eligibility, strong virtualization and storage knowledge, and solid documentation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
• Active DoD clearance (Top Secret or Secret) or willingness to obtain.
• 3+ years as a Network/System Administrator in complex IT environments.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Strong virtualization, network, security, and troubleshooting knowledge.
• Experience with RMF/STIG, backups, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support classified information systems and maintain secure environments.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity teams to meet RMF/STIG requirements.
• Manage active directory, backups, patching, and monitoring.
• Troubleshoot incidents, upgrade applications, and maintain documentation.
• Plan and operate in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
