Job summary

Textron Systems is seeking a Senior System Administrator to design, implement, and maintain secure, air-gapped networks for classified environments in the Weapon Systems business area. You will coordinate with a diverse team to meet computing requirements and deliver resilient infrastructure supporting warfighters.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT.
• Active Secret Clearance required to start work; Top Secret later.
• 4–6+ years’ experience as Network/System Administrator.
• Experience with Windows Server/Windows 11 and Linux (RedHat).
• Knowledge of encryption devices, routers, switches, firewalls; network protocols and security.

Responsibilities

• Setup and maintain systems for software, hardware, and servers for Classified Systems/Networks.
• Perform OS upgrades, patching, RAID config, backups, and image creation.
• Provide timely technical support for users and issue resolution.
• Troubleshooting hardware, OS, and application problems.
• Support Anti-virus installation and maintenance.
• Assist with incident response and backup processes.
