Job summary

The Glatfelter Agency, a division of Glatfelter Insurance Group, seeks a Commercial Lines Assistant Account Manager to support the Commercial Lines team in day-to-day servicing of our commercial clients. This onsite role is based at our Leader Heights, York, PA office.

Key responsibilities include quoting, rating, binding, record-keeping in Epic, issuing Certificates of Insurance, and renewal preparation. A PA Property & Casualty license or progress toward it within three months is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
• Commercial Lines retail insurance agency experience preferred.
• Valid PA Property & Casualty license or must attain within three months.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Experience with Applied Epic or similar agency management system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Account Managers and Account Executives to provide quality service to clients.
• Utilize carrier websites to quote, rate, bind, and perform various functions.
• Maintain accurate records in the Epic agency management system.
• Issue Certificates of Insurance and prepare Auto ID Cards.
• Enter prospect and client data accurately in applications.
• Process mid-year client change requests.
• Review carrier documents for accuracy; prepare renewal materials.
