Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years related claims experience.
• Licensed and/or certified in all states where claims are handled or able to obtain licenses per local requirements.
• Knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices.
• Computer experience with related claims and business software.

Responsibilities

• Analyze coverage and settle moderately complex Healthcare Professional Liability claims.
• Manage full-life cycle of all assigned claims files.
• Prepare reserve and settlement authority requests for client and carrier approval.
• Negotiate settlements with clients, client attorneys, and Public Adjusters.
• Handle claims consistent with client policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
