Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive experience in healthcare, insurance, or related field.
• At least 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of claims adjudication, COB, and benefit structures.
• Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools; MS Office experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; organized and time‑management oriented.

Responsibilities

• Monitor KPIs, productivity, quality, and turnaround time.
• Oversee inventory management, backlog reduction, and aging claim performance.
• Prioritize resources to maintain inventory levels and minimize aged claims.
• Collaborate with the CSS Team Lead on year‑end processing activities and cross‑department workflows.
• Provide day‑to‑day leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to Claims Processors.
• Generate and analyze claims processing, inventory, productivity, quality, and auto‑adjudication reports and communicate trends to management.
• Monitor auto‑adjudication outcomes and work with Plan Builders to identify issues and drive resolution.
• Serve as an escalation point for complex claims and inventory concerns.
• Identify process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce inventory.
• Ensure compliance with plan provisions, procedures, and company policies.
• Communicate team performance, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
