Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience considered in lieu of the degree.
• 3+ years of progressive experience in healthcare, insurance, client services, or claims operations, with leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of claims adjudication, benefit structures, COB, and claim inventory management.
• Experience reducing backlog and aging claims, plus data-driven problem solving.
• Strong verbal and written communication, organization, and time management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage team performance against KPIs, productivity, quality, and turnaround time.
• Oversee inventory management, backlog reduction, and aging claim performance to meet service standards.
• Prioritize workload and coordinate with cross-functional partners to improve processing.
• Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and guidance to Claims Processors.
• Analyze claims data and reporting trends; communicate findings to management.
• Support year-end processing activities and issue resolution with Plan Builders and CSS Lead.
