Job summary

Crow Holdings' Dallas-based Claims Manager oversees insurance claims across development, construction, and operations from our Dallas office. You will liaise with Legal, insurers, brokers, and outside counsel to ensure timely resolutions and strong litigation management, while driving proactive risk mitigation and top-tier internal service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business, Finance, Legal Studies, or related field.
• 5+ years of commercial claims management experience.
• Experience managing commercial claims litigation and coordinating with outside counsel.
• Strong understanding of insurance coverage, claims handling, and litigation processes.
• Experience working with carriers, brokers, and third-party administrators.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to manage sensitive matters with professionalism and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of general liability, property, and other claims.
• Coordinate investigations, coverage analysis, reserving discussions, and resolution strategies.
• Partner with Legal, insurers, brokers, third-party administrators, and outside counsel on litigated matters.
• Monitor commercial claims litigation and coordinate settlements.
• Identify trends and recommend risk mitigation and loss prevention.
• Support leaders through claims process and incident reporting requirements.
• Analyze claim data and develop reports for senior leadership.
• Assist with renewals by providing claims history and exposure information.
• Support insurance recovery efforts and complex coverage matters.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and deliver responsive service.
