Job summary

AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. seeks a Claims Analytics Specialist Lead to deliver data-driven insights and reporting for specialized claims lines.

You will partner with Claims leaders, design reports, and build a robust data infrastructure with Data Engineering and Governance teams. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in financial or operational reporting, strong SQL, Power BI, and BI tool experience, and the ability to mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in financial or operational reporting, data analytics, or a related field.
• Strong familiarity with the Claims and Insurance industry.
• Proficiency with Power BI, SSMS, Excel, Planner and SharePoint.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with BI software suites; knowledge of DAX is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with data tools such as Git, DAX Studio, PBI Helper, and Visual Studio Pro.
• Proven ability to develop reporting and data visualization solutions and to work with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of actuarial and finance concepts, including budgeting and headcount reporting.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Claims leaders to identify complex reporting and data needs across specialized claims lines.
• Lead the development of a robust data infrastructure with Data Engineering and Governance teams.
• Design and develop reports and analyses for senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Respond quickly to ad-hoc data requests from Claims leadership and business partners.
• Mentor junior team members in report and code development and best practices.
