Job summary

Schneider National, Inc. in Green Bay is seeking a Senior Claims Adjuster to fully investigate, analyze, and resolve complex claims and incidents.

This role covers property, injuries, Freight, workers compensation, and subrogation with 1st shift hours in Green Bay. You will act as the single point of contact for all parties involved in managing a claim, review claims for negligence and damages, and work with Counsel when legal actions arise.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or paralegal certificate required.
• 4-6 years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Secure all necessary information to properly evaluate claims made against Schneider.
• Act as the single point of contact for all parties involved in managing a claim.
• Review claims for negligence, liability exposure, damages, subrogation potential, fraud and more.
• Ensure actions and strategies are executed that will provide the best overall outcome for the organization.
• Work with the Counsel in cases where legal actions have been initiated by or against Schneider.
• Attend hearings, trials, mediations and settlement meetings as a corporate representative.
• Accurately document all claims activities.
• Provide actionable insight as an effective business partner to minimize risk to the organization.
• Provide onboarding and training to other claims associates.

Job overview:
