Job summary

Schneider National, Inc. in Green Bay, WI seeks a Claims Adjuster to investigate and resolve claims across property, injuries, freight, workers’ comp and subrogation. You will manage investigations, gather information, and be the single point of contact for claim stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of relevant experience, an associate degree or paralegal certificate, and strong communication and detail orientation. This role offers a full-time schedule on 1st shift in Green Bay.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or paralegal certificate.
• 2-4 years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage initial and ongoing field investigations.
• Secure all necessary information to properly evaluate claims.
• Act as the single point of contact for all parties involved in managing a claim.
• Review claims for negligence, liability exposure, damages, subrogation potential, fraud and more.
• Ensure actions and strategies are executed that will provide the best overall outcome for the organization.
• Work with the Counsel in cases where legal actions have been initiated by or against Schneider.
• Attend hearings, trials, mediations and settlement meetings as a corporate representative.
• Accurately document all claims activities.
