Qualifications

Get to Know the Opportunity:

As a Sr. Claims Analyst supporting the Voya Leave Management (VLM) department, you will guide claimants through their integrated process of leave with empathy and clarity. You will be responsible for high complex claims. Your primary claim management focus will be on Short Term Disability, Family Medical Leave (FMLA) and other paid leaves. You will also be relied on as a mentor and support claim analysts/specialist. You will also be responsible for oversight of contract and language discrepancies with contracts and proactively provide solutions. You will ensure a high standard of service while maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements.

• Manage assigned work queues within defined service level agreements (SLAs).
• Support additional projects and responsibilities as needed.

Minimum Knowledge & Experience:

• 1-2 years of experience in FMLA or unpaid leave claims management
• 2-3 years of experience in Short Term disability or paid leave claims management
• Strong decision making and critical thinking skills
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook.
• Strong written and oral communication capabilities
• Proven critical thinking and problem solving
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally.

Preferred Knowledge & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree #LI-IB1

Compensation Pay Disclosure:

Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities. The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Actual compensation offered may vary based on the posted salary range. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based on the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. $56,220 - $70,280 USD
