Job summary

The Senior Civil Discipline Lead will guide large, complex water resources programs, with a focus on dams, energy, fisheries, infrastructure, or natural resources, directing multi-disciplinary teams and applying mature judgment to solve problems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum of 20 years of civil engineering/water resources consulting experience.
• Proven ability to develop and lead multiple large project teams.
• Excellent client relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee extensive and complex water resources programs requiring significant staff, stakeholder collaboration, and coordination.
• Align organizational structure, staffing, skills development, training, and operational focus with company values, objectives, and strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with senior PMs to address complex business and client matters.
• Execute legal and contractual commitments on behalf of the firm with clients, teaming partners, vendors, and subconsultants within established guidelines.
• Ensure all work produced by reporting staff meets company risk management and quality standards.
• QA/QC compliance on projects per client requirements and company policies.
• Serve as Project Manager to lead large, multidisciplinary projects.
• Foster and strengthen existing client relationships while developing new business opportunities.
