Job summary

McMillen, Inc. seeks a Senior Civil Discipline Lead to guide large water resources programs, including dams, energy, fisheries, and infrastructure projects. You will direct multidisciplinary teams with senior staff, shaping strategy and ensuring high-quality, compliant project deliverables.

Experience leading major projects, strong client interaction, and mentoring future leaders are essential. Willingness to travel up to 25% is required as part of client engagement and project execution.

Qualifications

• Minimum 20 years of civil engineering/water resources consulting experience.
• Proven ability to lead multiple large project teams.
• Excellent client relationship management skills.
• Strong negotiation and external team-building abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor future leaders.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee extensive water resources programs with large staff and stakeholders.
• Align staffing and training with company objectives and growth.
• Collaborate with senior PMs on complex client matters.
• Ensure QA/QC and risk management compliance across projects.
• Lead large, multidisciplinary projects as Project Manager.
• Develop and deliver major client presentations and proposals.
