Job summary

McMillen, Inc. is seeking a Senior Civil Discipline Lead to join our team in Flower Mound, TX.

The successful candidate will lead large water resources programs, directing multi-disciplinary staff and coordinating with clients and partners to deliver complex dam, energy, fisheries, infrastructure projects. You will oversee staffing, QA, risk management, and mentor leaders while driving business development with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum of 20 years of civil engineering/water resources consulting experience.
• Proven ability to lead multiple large project teams.
• Excellent client relationship management skills.
• Strong negotiation, leadership, and external team-building abilities.
• Travel up to 25% monthly.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee extensive water resources programs with significant staff and coordination.
• Align staffing, training, and operational focus with company strategy and values.
• Collaborate with senior PMs to address complex business matters.
• Lead legal and contractual commitments with clients and partners.
• Ensure QA/QC compliance and risk management across projects.
• Serve as Project Manager for large, multidisciplinary programs up to $5 million.
• Develop and deliver external presentations and client engagements.
• Grow client relationships and pursue new business opportunities.
