Job summary

Benture is seeking a Civil / Survey Engineer for a remote US-based role. You will author and review structured tasks drawn from real site, civil, and survey scenarios, focusing on grading, roadway, utility, and topographic reviews. PE/PLS credentials and multiple years of hands-on experience are required.

You will work with peer reviewers and mentors, handling complex reviews across jurisdictions, drawing sets, aerials, maps, and parcel data to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• PE in Civil Engineering or PLS required for survey and mapping tasks.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience; 8+ years strongly preferred.
• US-based, working to US standards, state DOT, or local land development practice.
• Comfortable navigating drawing sets, aerials, topographic maps, and parcel data.

Responsibilities

• Author structured tasks rooted in real site, civil, and survey work.
• Write both the task prompt and the correct answer for peer review.
• Review civil grading, erosion & sediment control, and stormwater design plan review.
• Roadway plan checks and traffic control plan review.
• Utility service drawing review and floodplain permit review.
• Topographic map review and parcel data interpretation.
