Job summary

Herzog Energy, Inc. seeks a Civil Superintendent in the United States to lead civil construction for utility-scale solar and energy storage projects.

You will manage site preparation, grading, drainage, foundations, and underground utilities, while coordinating with project management to keep schedules and budgets on track. This role requires extensive travel (up to 100%), strong leadership, safety compliance, and effective communication with customers, subs, and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of construction management or related experience.
• Experience with civil projects for solar/renewables preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee civil construction activities for utility-scale projects.
• Coordinate scheduling, budgeting, and crew allocation.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with specs.
