Job summary

William Charles Construction is seeking a Senior Estimator (Civil/Structures) to lead heavy civil estimating for highways and roadways across multiple locations. The role emphasizes accurate takeoffs, cost estimates, bid schedules and clear communication with clients and internal teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Construction Management with 5+ years in heavy civil estimating and proficiency in Bid2Win, Primavera P6, Bluebeam and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy civil estimating.
• Extensive experience with earthwork and underground; PCC paving and concrete knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze and interpret contract documents to provide accurate cost estimates.
• Develop preliminary budgets and itemized summaries for go/no-go decisions.
• Identify issues and develop risk exposure and cost impacts.
• Present complete estimates to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Represent the company at pre-bids and site visits.
