Job summary

Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) in Pasadena, TX is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer with 6–12 years of experience in the petrochemical industry. The role focuses on designing foundations, pipe supports, and equipment foundations for industrial projects.

The engineer will work with project teams, apply relevant codes, and manage costs and schedules while ensuring safety and environmental considerations are addressed throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 6–12 years of Civil/Structural engineering design and construction experience in the petrochemical industry.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work with teams.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish credibility with project teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare structural and foundation designs for industrial projects.
• Design heavy equipment foundations, pipe racks, pipe supports, access platforms, pump foundations, and vessel foundations.
• Manage cost and time constraints across multiple projects.
• Prepare safety and environmental aspects of projects.
• Execute designs using AutoCAD, CADWorx, RISA products, and Hilti PROFIS.
• Apply ASCE, AISC, ACI, IBC and PIP codes and standards.
• Collaborate with project teams to meet project goals.
