Job summary

Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) in Pasadena, TX, seeks a Civil/Structural Engineer to support petrochemical and heavy industrial projects with structural and foundation design.

You will design foundations, pipe racks, supports, platforms, and vessel foundations, and perform analyses using AutoCAD, RISA, and Hilti PROFIS, while applying ASCE, AISC, ACI, IBC, and PIP codes and ensuring safe, cost-effective solutions. A Texas PE license is preferred.

Qualifications

• 6–12 years of Civil/Structural engineering design and construction experience within the petrochemical industry.
• Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and structural engineering analysis/design software, including RISA and Hilti PROFIS.
• Strong knowledge of ASCE, AISC, ACI, IBC, and PIP codes and standards.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to establish credibility and work effectively with others.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting cost and schedule requirements.

Pasadena, Tx: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to support industrial projects involving structural and foundation design, with a focus on petrochemical and heavy industrial applications.

• Prepare structural and foundation designs for industrial projects.
• Design heavy equipment foundations, pipe racks, pipe supports, access platforms, pump foundations, and vessel foundations.
• Manage cost and time constraints across multiple projects.
• Prepare and maintain safety and environmental aspects of projects.
• Execute structural designs using RISA products, calculation spreadsheets, Hilti PROFIS, AutoCAD, and CADWorx.
• Apply applicable industrial codes and standards, including ASCE, AISC, ACI, IBC, and PIP.
• Utilize laser scans as part of facility design when required.
• Collaborate with project teams to achieve project goals and maintain effective communication.
