Job summary

Tata Consulting Engineers USA, LLC is seeking a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer to design equipment components, structures and systems for energy projects. The role requires 10+ years progressive experience and a PE license in the resident state.

You will prepare specifications, review vendor drawings, coordinate with clients and multi-office teams, and ensure safety and quality standards are met across projects.

Qualifications

• BS in civil or structural engineering from ABET‑accredited university is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required in the resident state.
• Minimum 10+ years of progressive Civil/Structural engineering experience, preferably in oil/gas/petrochemical.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work with clients and multi‑office teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare intermediate to advanced specifications for project assignments.
• Develop engineering sketches, calculations, and analysis models.
• Review vendor drawings for compliance with project specs.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and consultants.
• Plan, manage budgets and resources; ensure work is on schedule and within budget.
• Adhere to HSSE standards and regulatory requirements.
• Visit jobsites and vendor facilities to evaluate conditions.
• Prepare reports, plans, and construction schedules.
