Tata Consulting Engineers USA, LLC (TCE) is seeking a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer to lead design and analysis for oil, gas, and petrochemical projects. You will prepare specifications, perform engineering calculations, and coordinate multi-office teams.
The role requires 10+ years of progressive experience and a PE license; fluency in English; ability to manage budgets and schedules; and strong client interaction skills.

Tata Consulting Engineers USA, LLC, (TCE), is a multi-disciplinary engineering organization offering a full range of integrated engineering design, project support, procurement and construction management services to the energy and chemicals industries.
Perform civil/structural engineering assignments associated with designing equipment components, structures, or systems.
Required: 10+ years of progressive experience in the field of Civil/Structural Engineering, preferably in the oil, gas, or petrochemical industry. Required: Professional Engineering license in resident state.
Independently prepare intermediate to advanced level specifications for project assignments detailing client performance requirements, specific component needs, design requirements, applicable design codes, and vendor drawing requirements.

Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos, all in English. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Ability to comprehend and complete testing for Safety Orientations through either written, verbal or computer interaction, as required by tester.
Must possess basic computer skills and knowledge of MS Word and Excel software. Ability to use basic engineering software programs, such as STAAD or RISA, is required. Familiarity with AutoCAD is a plus, but not mandatory.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral and diagram form. Must possess problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve issues involving multiple variables.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may periodically be required to travel to client jobsites, usually petrochemical production facilities and must have the ability to access all areas as required. Therefore, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; and the risk of electric shock. The noise level in the industrial workplace can be loud. The Engineer must exercise caution and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), as specified by TCE and the Clients, to ensure their own safety and the safety of their co-workers.
Required: BS in civil or structural engineering from an ABET accredited university. Professional Engineer (PE) License.
