Job summary

Hargrove is seeking a Civil Structural Engineer for our Pasadena Office. The role involves complete design of complex civil/structural assignments, coordination with multiple disciplines, and leading project teams to meet scope, schedule and budget.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of industrial civil/structural experience, PE registration is preferred, and strong knowledge of IBC and structural analysis software. Office-based in Pasadena with field support as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor or Master of Science in Civil Engineering is required; structural coursework is preferred.
• Registration: Professional Engineering registration is highly preferred.
• Experience: Requires 10+ years of relevant industrial civil/structural experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual layouts and cost studies to determine efficient approaches.
• Produce design calculations and sketches for construction materials.
• Review vendor drawings and discipline drawings for civil/structural input.
• Lead small to large teams and coordinate across disciplines.
• Provide field data collection, construction support, and drawings packaging.
