Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking a Civil Structural Engineer with extensive civil/structural design experience for our Pasadena, TX office. You will perform complete design tasks on complex projects, develop conceptual layouts, and prepare detailed calculations and drawings for construction and procurement.

The ideal candidate holds a MS/BS in Civil Engineering, has structural coursework, and preferably a PE license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• Structural coursework is required for structural engineering positions.
• Professional Engineering registration is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of complex civil/structural projects and ensure conformance to codes and standards.
• Develop conceptual layouts, preliminary designs, and material take-offs.
• Produce and check design calculations, sketches, and construction drawings for procurement and construction.
