Job summary

Audubon is seeking a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer to join our Lake Charles, LA office. The role involves designing civil/structural elements for equipment, components, structures and systems, with responsibilities spanning from drafting to client communication.

The candidate should have a PE license and substantial field and multi-discipline project experience; ABET-accredited education is preferred. Travel to sites and vendors may be required as part of project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• PE license required.
• ABET-accredited institution preferred.
• Civil/structural engineering degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare intermediate to advanced specifications detailing requirements, design codes, and vendor drawings.
• Develop sketches, calculations, and analysis models for complex projects.
• Review vendor drawings for compliance with project specs.
• Interact with clients, subcontractors, vendors and consultants.
• Manage workload, budgets and project resources to meet schedules.
