Job summary

Audubon Companies seeks a Principal Civil/Structural Engineer to lead advanced civil/structural design for complex equipment and systems. You will prepare specifications, develop models, review vendor drawings, and manage project scope, schedule and budgets while coordinating with clients and consultants to ensure quality and performance.

The role requires a PE license, ABET-aligned education, and 15+ years of experience in civil/structural engineering, with strong leadership and HSSE focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required.
• PE license required.
• ABET accreditation preferred.
• Civil/Structural engineering background preferred.
• Field experience required.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience preferred.
• Experience leading large multi-discipline projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently prepare advanced level specifications detailing client performance requirements, component needs, design codes, and vendor drawing requirements.
• Prepare sketches, perform calculations and develop models for moderately complex projects.
• Review vendor drawings for compliance with project specs.
• Interact with clients, subcontractors, vendors and other consultants.
• Manage workload, budgets and resources; ensure projects meet schedule and budget.
• Develop, review and approve conceptual and detailed engineering design packages.
• Lead risk assessment and ensure HSSE compliance across projects.
