Job summary

Audubon is seeking a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer to join our Metairie, LA office. You will perform civil/structural engineering assignments for designing equipment, components, structures or systems, under general supervision.

Responsibilities include preparing specifications, calculations, vendor drawing reviews, and site visits; coordinating with clients and teams to meet schedule and budget while complying with HSSE standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required.
PE license required.
Bachelor’s Degree from ABET Accredited Institution preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare basic to advanced specifications for project assignments detailing requirements, design codes, and vendor drawings.
Develop engineering sketches, calculations, and analysis models for moderately complex projects.
Review and approve vendor drawings for compliance with project specs.
Interact with clients, subcontractors, vendors and other consultants to ensure alignment.
Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
Adhere to HSSE standards and project safety requirements.
Review engineering drawings and calculations for accuracy.
Visit job-sites and vendor facilities to assess site conditions and equipment compliance.
Coordinate with drafting/design teams to develop and review drawings.
