Job summary

Audubon Companies seeks a Civil/Structural Engineer IV to join our Metairie, LA team. The engineer will design equipment, components, structures or systems and prepare specifications, calculations and models with minimal guidance.

Responsibilities include reviewing vendor drawings, coordinating with clients and subcontractors, visiting sites, and ensuring projects meet schedule and budget while adhering to HSSE standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required.
• ABET Accredited Institution preferred.
• PE license required.
• Onshore experience required.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare intermediate to advanced level specifications detailing client requirements, design codes, and vendor drawing needs.
• Develop engineering sketches, calculations and analysis models for moderately complex projects.
• Review vendor drawings for compliance with specifications.
• Interact with clients, subcontractors, vendors and consultants.
• Visit jobsites to evaluate sites, requirements and conditions.
• Develop, review and/or approve design packages and control procedures.
• Manage workload, budgets and project resources, and forecast man-hour requirements.
