Job summary

W3Global is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer (PE) for its Baton Rouge, LA office. You will lead structural projects in the industrial sector, mentor designers, and collaborate with clients from concept through construction. Relocation assistance is available for approved candidates.

The role requires a PE license, 7+ years of relevant experience, and strong communication skills. Candidates with Louisiana exposure and Gulf Coast experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering is required.
• PE license is required.
• 7+ years of consulting or field support experience is required.
• Experience with structural design and delivery in refining, chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, or heavy manufacturing is required.
• Experience leading design teams and managing client relationships is required.
• Strong English verbal and written communication is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural projects from calculations through construction.
• Mentor designers and junior engineers.
• Perform design calculations and prepare detailed design documents and specs.
• Provide installation support, field inspection, and construction administration.
• Manage project progress against plan, schedule, and budget.
