Hargrove is seeking a Senior Civil/Structural Designer to join the on-site Capex Design Engineering team in St. Gabriel, LA.

The role leads the production of civil and structural design deliverables across capital projects, from FEL3 estimating through construction, leveraging deep knowledge of concrete, steel, and civil disciplines. You will produce detailed drawings, 3D models, and field-verified designs, working with multiple disciplines and coordinating with site teams to ensure

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant industrial experience in capital projects environment.
• Experience with FEL3 estimating and detailed design through construction.
• Brownfield/retrofit project experience in active manufacturing facilities preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and CADWorx for drawing production and 3D plant modeling.

Responsibilities

• Independently produce civil and structural design deliverables for structural steel and concrete, foundations, slabs, pads, platforms, and pipe racks.
• Develop and manage detailed design packages from FEL3 through final construction documents.
• Prepare accurate project cost estimates with FEL3 level detail.
• Produce 3D models and drawings using AutoCAD, CADWorx, and Recap integration.
• Support field surveys, site walk-downs, and constructability verification.
