Job summary

Audubon seeks a Civil/Structural Designer III to join our Canonsburg, PA team. This role focuses on designing civil/structural equipment and systems, creating detailed drawings, BOMs, and specifications, and ensuring engineering changes are implemented accurately.

Candidates should have 10+ years of experience, strong AutoCAD skills, and familiarity with CADWorx/PDMS. Field experience and client interaction are essential in this on-site role at our Canonsburg office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• Associate degree from a technical institution is preferred.
• Minimum 10+ years of applicable experience preferred.
• AutoCAD experience is required.
• CADWorx and PDMS experience is preferred.
• Field experience is required.
• Experience in onshore gas processing, hydrocarbon storage or refining is required.
• Small project lead experience is required.
• Medium/large project lead experience is preferred.
• Ability to work in a team and solve problems proactively.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed drawings of parts and assemblies from layouts and designs.
• Interpret directions to initiate preliminary design tasks.
• Perform basic calculations and geometry checks as needed.
• Check drawings for accuracy and consistency.
• Prepare BOMs and specifications and revise with engineering changes.
• Create 2D/3D CAD layouts and fabrication drawings.
• Produce documentation for ECOs and change orders.
• Interact with clients, subcontractors and vendors effectively.
• Assist with field surveys and documenting existing conditions.
• Maintain file management per standards and budgets.
