Job summary

Audubon Companies in Houston, TX is seeking a Civil/Structural Designer II, Senior to join our team. You will design civil/structural equipment, components, structures or systems and produce detailed drawings and BOMs for construction deliverables.

The role requires strong CAD skills (AutoCAD, CADWorx, PDMS) and prior experience in oil & gas or related industries. Collaboration with clients and field teams is essential, with field surveys and revisions as part of the job.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s Degree from a Technical Institution preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience preferred.
• AutoCAD software experience required.
• CADWorx software experience required.
• PDMS software experience preferred.
• Microsoft Office software experience preferred.
• Experience in offshore oil & gas, onshore gas processing, hydrocarbon storage and transportation, chemical manufacturing or refining industry required.
• Small/Medium project lead experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete design packages including preliminary, conceptual, and construction deliverables and engineering calculations.
• Prepare detailed 2D/3D drawings with projections, sections and BOMs.
• Interpret direction to initiate preliminary designs and revisions per engineering changes.
• Perform basic calculations and trigonometry as required for design work.
• Create BOMs and procurement lists; revise drawings and BOMs with changes.
• Utilize 2D/3D CAD software to design civil/structural components and assemblies.
• Produce ECO-related documentation and ensure designs meet company standards.
• Interact with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and other consultants.
