Job summary

Audubon Companies in Canonsburg, PA is seeking a Civil/Structural Designer III to join our team. You will create detailed drawings, perform basic calculations, and ensure accurate documentation. The role requires field experience, 10+ years preferred, and proficiency in AutoCAD, CADWorx, PDMS, and MS Office.

Collaborate with engineers and clients to develop cost-effective, compliant designs while maintaining schedule and quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's Degree from Technical Institution preferred.
• Minimum 10+ years' experience preferred.
• AutoCAD experience required.
• CADWorx and PDMS experience preferred.
• Microsoft Office experience preferred.
• Field experience required.
• Experience in onshore gas processing, hydrocarbon storage and transportation, chemical manufacturing or refining industry required.
• Small project lead experience required.
• Medium/Large project lead experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand drawings.
• Ability to work in a team oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed drawings of parts and assemblies from layouts and working drawings.
• Interpret verbal or written direction to initiate a preliminary design.
• Perform basic calculations and trigonometry related to area, volume, slope, etc.
• Check and verify accuracy of drawings prepared by others.
• Prepare BOMs and specifications; revise drawings and BOM with changes.
• Implement revisions and change control per company standards.
• Create layouts using 2D/3D CAD software for civil/structural systems.
• Create fabrication and assembly drawings and associated documentation.
• Create documentation for Engineering Change Orders (ECO).
• Interact with clients, subcontractors, vendors and other consultants.
• Track and maintain project schedule and budget.
