Job summary

Audubon seeks a Civil/Structural Designer II, Senior to join our Houston, TX office. The designer will create complete civil/structural design packages, detailed drawings, BOMs and specifications while applying revisions per standards.

Field support and collaboration with clients and subcontractors are also part of the role. The ideal candidate has a strong background in CAD tools (AutoCAD, CADWorx, PDMS) and MS Office, with a minimum of 7 years of related experience in oil & gas or chemical

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Associate degree preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of experience preferred.
Experience with AutoCAD, CADWorx, PDMS and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Prepare complete design packages that may include preliminary, conceptual and construction deliverables as well as calculations.
Prepare detailed drawings of parts and assemblies with projections, sections and specs.
Interpret directions to initiate preliminary design.
Perform basic calculations and trigonometry for area, volume, slope, etc.
Prepare BOMs, procurement lists and specs; revise as needed.
Implement revisions and change control per company standards.
Assemble information and reference drawings from multiple sources.
Continually seek product improvements and cost reductions.
Create layouts using 2D/3D CAD to communicate construction requirements.
Produce drawings to process ECOs and maintain project budgets.
