Job summary

Hanson Professional Services Inc. is seeking a Senior Civil Site Engineer to lead multidisciplinary teams on industrial and site development projects across the country.

The role includes design development, calculations, and construction document preparation with collaboration from project managers and junior staff. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in civil engineering with 10+ years of experience and a PE license, and may work from multiple Illinois offices, with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field is required.
• 10 or more years of general civil engineering experience with emphasis on site development.
• Professional Engineer license in state of assigned office or ability to reciprocate within 6 months; licensing in TX/LA or Canada viewed favorably.

Responsibilities

• Work within Sitework discipline supporting design development for industrial clients nationwide and in North/Central America.
• Prepare and review complex design calculations.
• Prepare and review construction documents for rehabilitation of industrial infrastructure.
• Manage and develop junior staff.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and deliverables with project managers.
• Deliver cost effective and constructable projects and coordinate with clients.
• Review contractor submittals and observe on-site for conformance.
