Job summary

Hanson Professional Services Inc. is seeking a Site Civil Engineer to join multidisciplinary design teams delivering industrial, site development, and infrastructure projects across the nation.

You will work on roads, rail, utilities, and drainage, coordinating with agencies and clients to meet budgets and schedules. Applicants should have a civil engineering degree, 5+ years of site development experience, and a PE license or ability to reciprocate within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required.
• 5+ years of general civil engineering experience with emphasis on site development.
• Professional Engineer license in state of assignment or ability to reciprocate within 6 months; licensure in TX/LA or Canada favored.

Responsibilities

• Support design development for industrial clients nationwide; focus on logistics projects.
• Prepare and review complex design calculations.
• Prepare and review construction documents for rehabilitation of industrial infrastructure.
• Manage and develop junior staff.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and deliverables with project managers.
• Deliver cost effective and constructible designs to clients.
• Review contractor submittals and observe construction on-site for conformance.
