Job summary

Benesch in Franklin or Nashville, Tennessee, is seeking a Senior Civil Site Designer to join our Civil Site and Land Development team. You will contribute to planning, design, and delivery of civil site projects while collaborating with engineers, project managers, clients, and multidisciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of progressive civil site design experience, proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, and the ability to manage design tasks independently, mentoring junior designers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of civil site design experience.
• Strong experience in civil site and land development design.
• Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Able to manage design assignments independently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and production of civil site and land development plans.
• Coordinate design efforts with engineers, PMs, clients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Mentor junior designers and provide technical guidance.
• Ensure designs meet applicable standards and project budgets/schedules.
• Support projects through construction with responses to RFI and submittals.
