Job summary

Benesch is seeking a Civil Site Designer II to join our Civil Site and Land Development team in Franklin or Nashville, Tennessee. You will support planning, design, and delivery of civil site projects while collaborating with engineers and project managers.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in civil site design, strong AutoCAD Civil 3D skills, and a solid grasp of design codes and permitting. Hybrid work options are available with room for growth.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in civil site design, land development, municipal engineering, or related field.
• Experience with site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater management, or erosion control.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Understanding of civil design principles, codes, standards, and permitting requirements.
• Ability to interpret engineering plans, drawings, specifications, and technical information.

Responsibilities

• Develop civil site and land development plans under the direction of project engineers and project managers.
• Assist with site layout, grading, drainage, stormwater management, utility design, erosion control, and related civil design activities.
• Prepare plans, profiles, details, exhibits, technical documentation, and supporting calculations.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop and produce civil design plans and construction documents.
