Popli Design Group (PDG) is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to join our Civil/Site Engineering Department in New York. The role emphasizes managing and contributing to structural projects across New York State, mentoring junior staff, and serving as the primary client contact while guiding the department’s growth.

This position involves civil/site design, traffic planning, grading and drainage, permit coordination, and may include modeling, drafting, and cost estimation tasks.

Qualificações

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in civil engineering.
• NY State PE license is required.
• Certifications such as CPESC, LEED AP and ENV SP are a plus.
• 10–20 years of site design experience is expected.

Responsabilidades

• Independently develop and oversee site plans, traffic circulation, roadways, parking, utilities, grading, drainage, models, and design calculations.
• Manage team, delegate tasks to junior staff, and ensure design quality.
• Oversee preparation and review of plans, specs, reports, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with clients and agencies for permits and approvals.
• Travel within New York State for design investigations and construction support if needed.
