Senior Civil Site Construction Estimator

Responsibilities

1. Prepare full-service cost estimates for site development construction projects.
2. Focus on civil site clearing, earthwork, drainage, underground utilities, base, and paving.
3. Perform detailed quantity take-offs.
4. Clarify scope and perform value engineering.
5. Attend pre-bid meetings.
6. Conduct construction risk analysis through site visits and scope understanding.
7. Write up and present budgets, reports, and project plans.
8. Support and mentor 1-2 estimators and quantity take-off personnel.

Requirements

1. Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mathematics, Architecture, or a related field (preferred).
2. At least five (5) years of experience estimating site and utility development projects.
3. Experience with HCSS HeavyBid and HeavyJob (preferred).
4. Experience with AGTEK Earthworks and Roadway (preferred).
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
6. Strong math skills, including geometry and arithmetic.
7. Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
8. Must pass drug screening and background check prior to employment.
