Job summary

Horrocks is seeking a Roadway/Site Engineer to lead a variety of civil design projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities include developing work plans, overseeing schedules, and preparing fee proposals while coordinating with clients and internal teams.

The candidate should have 7–10 years of progressive civil design experience, be proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, and possess Civil PE licensure with strong communication and management skills.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in civil engineering.
• 3 years of Civil PE licensure experience.
• 7–10 years of progressive civil design experience including drainage, utility, roadway, and development design.
• Strong project management and client communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop project work plans and scopes of work.
• Provide project oversight and schedule monitoring.
• Prepare fee proposals and manage budgets and invoicing.
• Produce roadway, grading, drainage, water, and sewer plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Prepare technical deliverables and reports.
• Manage development and redevelopment projects for private and public clients.
• Coordinate with other Horrocks practice leaders on multi-disciplinary pursuits.
• Maintain effective communication with clients and teams.
• Conduct construction observation and coordination with contractors.
