Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. in Austin seeks a Civil Engineering Senior Project Manager/Principal to lead land development projects for commercial, institutional, and residential clients.

You will manage teams, control budgets, interface with clients, and steer projects from concept through construction. The successful candidate will have 15+ years of experience, a BS in Civil Engineering, and a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license, with strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• 15+ years’ experience.
• BS in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• Ability to speak and write professionally.
• Ability to develop and mentor staff.
• Ability to provide a technical review of Civil Engineering deliverable.
• Ability to prepare proposals and manage project execution.
• Ability to interface with clients, network, and develop business.

Responsibilities

• Manage project teams to create land development plans for commercial, institutional, and residential clients.
• Oversee budgeting, scheduling, and quality control across projects.
• Mentor and supervise junior engineers and review design deliverables.
• Interface with clients, contractors, and local government officials.
• Guide projects from conceptual and design phases through regulatory review, bidding, and construction.
