Job summary

Langan is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Civil Engineering to join its collaboration in Pittsburgh, PA. This role will lead design, permitting and client management for diverse land development projects, offering cross-functional partnership with industry leaders on premier sites.

The ideal candidate has a PE license and 10+ years of site/civil experience, plus strong communication and business development skills to manage multi-disciplinary teams and drive project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 10+ years of site/civil engineering experience with land development focus.
• Professional Engineering license (PE) required.
• Strong client development and project leadership abilities.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or Civil 3D preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Design and permit residential, institutional, commercial land development projects.
• Lead design teams, manage budgets, and oversee scheduling.
• Develop client relationships and pursue business development opportunities.
• Coordinate with leadership for growth planning and staff utilization.
• Oversee site layout, grading, drainage, and SWPPP considerations.
