Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a skilled Civil Engineering Senior Project Manager to join our Civil/Site team in Houston, TX. In this role, you’ll lead projects from start to finish, overseeing budgets, proposals, design tasks, schedules, and client relationships while guiding your team to deliver successful results.

You’ll work closely with senior leadership and talented colleagues to complete projects on time and within budget, all while driving profitability and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) is required.
• 8+ years of civil/site land development experience.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and mentoring junior staff.
• Strong communication with coworkers, clients and regulatory agencies.
• Experience with planning, design, and construction oversight.

Responsibilities

• Monitor schedules and budgets on projects to satisfy clients and control costs.
• Ensure technical accuracy and proper documentation in plans and reports.
• Develop design tasks including grading and drainage designs for civil projects.
• Coordinate site visits during construction to evaluate issues.
• Ensure quality control for all project documents.
• Manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and assist with proposals.
• Mentor junior staff and evaluate performance.
