Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design seeks a Senior Project Manager for our Atlanta, GA office to lead complex civil/site land development projects from planning through delivery. You will oversee schedules, budgets, staffing, quality control, and client relationships while mentoring Project Managers and junior staff, driving growth in the region.

The ideal candidate is a licensed PE with deep civil/site experience, understands local development processes, and excels at leading teams and winning work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• 8+ years of civil/site land development experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of local city, county and state land use processes and regulations.
• Proficiency in stormwater management, hydraulics and site development design.
• Proficient with AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project schedules and capital budgets to satisfy the client and control work.
• Identify project teams, tasks, productivity targets, and manpower needs.
• Oversee quality control/quality assurance on all projects.
• Manage project productivity and profitability targets.
• Support proposals and marketing efforts, including business development.
• Conduct team meetings and review procedures before submission.
• Negotiate scope changes with clients with supervisor approval.
• Coordinate with staff to ensure high utilization and timely communications.
• Review monthly man-hour and cost reports for profit goals.
• Ensure adherence to project planning and profit controls.
• Discuss budgets with clients and approve out-of-scope work.
• Collaborate with Department Managers to troubleshoot technical problems.
• Work with Billing to process client invoices and follow up on payments.
• Mentor Project Managers and junior staff.
• Adhere to Health and Safety SOPs.
• Evaluate employee performance per company policy.
