Job summary

LVI Associates is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Civil Engineering to lead land development projects in New York City, White Plains, or Melville. You will oversee design, permitting, project delivery, and client development for a diverse mix of residential, commercial, and industrial sites.

The role requires a PE license, 10+ years of site/civil experience, and strong leadership of multidisciplinary teams. Travel to project sites and client meetings will be expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 10+ years of progressive site/civil experience in land development.
• PE license required.
• Strong PM experience on small and large projects.
• Experience with site design, grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater, and permitting.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Experience managing client relationships and leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Active involvement in industry associations preferred.
• Strong technical writing, proposal development, and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage design and permitting of residential, commercial, mixed-use, institutional, industrial, and warehouse/distribution projects.
• Lead site/civil engineering from feasibility through construction.
• Collaborate with leadership to support growth, client development, and staff utilization.
• Oversee hydrologic and hydraulic analyses and SWPPP preparation.
• Coordinate with environmental, geotechnical, survey, and transportation teams for integrated solutions.
• Serve as primary client contact for assigned projects.
• Mentor junior staff and support technical development.
• Participate in proposals, presentations, and business development activities.
