Job summary

Langan is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team in New York City, White Plains or Melville, NY. You will lead design, permitting and client management for diverse land development projects, collaborating with leadership on growth and strategy.

Ideal candidates will bring 10+ years of site/civil experience, a PE license, and proficiency in AutoCAD or Civil 3D, with strong communication and leadership skills. This is a client‑facing, on‑site role across multiple NY offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Professional Engineering license required.
• 10+ years of site/civil experience in land development projects.
• Strong analytical, judgment and writing abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and permit residential, institutional, commercial centers, warehouse distribution centers, and mixed‑use projects for public and private clients.
• Collaborate with office leadership to develop growth plans and ensure staff utilization.
• Lead site/civil design across project sites from concept through completion.
• Lead storm water management design and hydrologic/hydraulic analysis and SWPPP preparation.
• Demonstrate experience in land development engineering integrating geotechnical and environmental aspects.
• Perform other duties as requested.
